Two miters
In this selection, we cut the material on both sides with counter-rotating miters. This cutting pattern gives the flat steel a trapezoidal top view and is ideally suited for the construction of frames. Both angles can be selected individually in the configurator.

S235JR - The all-rounder among steels
In the trade, the material is often referred to as "black steel" or "black material" as it has a dark, rough surface. The unalloyed structural steel with grade S235JR (material number 1.0038) is valued above all for its good weldability and excellent machinability. Drilling, sawing, milling, grinding and bending are all easily possible with this metal.
Difference between strip steel and flat steel
In general, there is hardly any difference between the products, as the designation is only defined by the material thickness. Steel strip is used when the bar is thinner than 5mm.
