Checker plate aluminium

Aluminium chequer plate / aluminium chequer plates

The checker plate, also called tear plate or warted plate, is very popular due to its slip resistance. This is created by the diagonally ribbed structure. In recent years, the sheet has also been popular for decorative purposes, such as as a splash guard in the kitchen.

For our aluminium corrugated sheets, we use high-quality aluminium AW 5754 AlMg3, which is manufactured according to DIN EN 1386 or EN 5733. The corrugation of the sheet is achieved by the high force of the forming process.

Areas of application for aluminium corrugated sheet

Aluminium corrugated sheet is a very light but nevertheless extremely robust material. Stresses such as permanent moisture, wind or dirt do not pose a problem. This makes our aluminium chequer plate ideal for outdoor use - even on steps or ramps, tripping is impossible. The high degree of slip resistance and the associated safety provided by the diagonally ribbed structure qualify the sheet for many other applications. These include, for example:

- Various coverings
- Lining of rooms
- Flooring for trailers, ships etc.
- Floor covering e.g. in vehicles such as trucks
- Ramps or steps
- Industry / metal construction / trade fair construction
