Our columns in Rostoptik are made by hand in Germany and are produced on the Lower Rhine. The components are plasma cut, bent and finally welded. They are ideal for use in the garden and can be visually enhanced by the use of an outdoor torch or other light source, making them ideal for use in the dark. In buildings or rooms the columns are equally applicable, here one should use nevertheless a suitable underlay (e.g. felt, material), in order to exclude a damage of the floor.
Rust is as natural as wood and can always be planned individually and at no time to one hundred percent. As a result, it can happen that a rust article is sometimes not one hundred percent uniform. The process of "rusting" is in itself a natural process and the result produces a unique specimen in patina and colour from orange to a warm brown tone. As a result, our manufactured products are always genuinely unique in the rust patina.

The column should also not be placed on a sensitive surface, since the
corrosion process could form discolorations. If scratches or non-corroded areas should appear, you only have to expose the column to the weather in order to have the areas "rusty" again.
