Galvanized rectangular tube to customer size

Galvanized profile tube offers numerous advantages, particularly in terms of durability, corrosion protection and possible applications. Thanks to the protective zinc coating, the structural steel has very good corrosion resistance, which means it can be used outdoors in extreme weather conditions without hesitation. The hot-dip galvanizing conceals S235JR structural steel - a particularly popular steel grade that stands for good machinability with solid stability and load-bearing capacity.

The profile is made of coated structural steel and can therefore be easily sawn, drilled and bent. Even welding and painting is possible with the right preparation and professional execution.

Note on rust protection of the cut edges

Please note that the pipe has already been galvanized before processing. For this reason, the cut edges do not have a zinc coating and are therefore not protected against corrosion. If necessary, you can easily protect the cut edges against rust with suitable zinc dust paint or zinc repair paste.

Artikel genau wie beschrieben. Wurde auch sofort versendet. Leider war die Spedition nicht in der Lage die Lieferung genauso schnell auszuliefern. Erst nachdem die Sendung mehrere Tage bei der Spedition lag und ich dort anrief um eine Lieferung zu vereinbaren, wurde geliefert. Das hat aber nichts mit dem Verkäufer bzw. Artikel zu tun.

Danger of cutting! Please note that the galvanized profile may have sharp cutting edges. We recommend that you always wear suitable, cut-resistant gloves.
Risk of rust! As the profile was galvanized before being cut to length, the cut edges have no corrosion protection. If this is necessary for your application, the protection must be applied subsequently, e.g. by cold galvanizing.
Keep away from other metals! Galvanized steel should never be brought into direct contact with other metals or in their immediate vicinity, as contact corrosion or cross-contamination can occur. This can significantly affect both metals, especially stainless steel, as it loses its non-rusting properties.
Wear your PPE! Please always wear suitable personal protective equipment appropriate to the process when working on the hollow section. Toxic gases can be produced during welding in particular.
