The long link chain is available in various link sizes, which enables a precise selection depending on the intended use. The breaking load ranges from 360kg to 3200kg, depending on the version. The permissible payload also varies accordingly from 45 kg for finer limbs to 400 kg for stronger variants. This product therefore covers a wide range of requirements, from light securing to medium mechanical loads. The minimum removal is 100mm with a cutting tolerance of 0 to +100mm.

What is DIN 5685?

DIN 5685 is a German industrial standard that refers to round steel chains for general technical applications. It specifies the shapes, dimensions, tolerances and mechanical properties of these chains. These are not hoist chains, but so-called commercial chains, which are not approved for lifting loads above people.
