A galvanized hollow profile with a square cross-section. It is made of S235JR structural steel and is extremely well protected against rust thanks to its high-quality hot-dip galvanizing. The galvanized steel tube is cut to your desired size and is available in many sizes, from 15x15mm to 100x100mm.

Galvanized square tube to desired length

Welded square tube with hot-dip galvanizing is a solid choice for a wide range of applications and offers a number of advantages. It is particularly suitable for outdoor constructions, as the galvanizing gives it excellent corrosion resistance. The zinc coating reliably protects the steel pipe from moisture, rust and other environmental influences, significantly extending the service life of the steel. For this reason, galvanized pipe is particularly popular in the construction industry.

Very good corrosion resistance
The robust square tube is particularly well protected against environmental influences and the associated rust thanks to the hot-dip galvanizing. This protection enables an extremely long service life of many decades - with minimal maintenance. A real trump card for outdoor use!
High load-bearing capacity with low weight
Thanks to the hollow construction in a square shape, the tube has a similar mechanical load-bearing capacity to solid material, but is many times lighter, offering an optimum balance between stability and weight.
Easy to process
As the protective zinc coating conceals normal S235JR structural steel, the pipe is particularly easy to process. Cutting, drilling and milling are no problem and even welding and painting are possible with appropriate pre-treatment.

Note on rust protection of the cut edges

Please note that the pipe has already been galvanized in the steel mill and therefore before sawing. For this reason, the cut edges do not have a protective zinc coating and are therefore not protected against corrosion. However, you can easily seal the cut edges against rust using zinc dust paint or zinc repair paste if required.

Danger of cutting! Please note that the galvanized pipe may have sharp cutting edges. We recommend that you always wear suitable, cut-resistant gloves.
Risk of rust! As the profile was galvanized before being cut to length, the cut edges have no corrosion protection. If this is necessary for your application, the protection must be applied subsequently, e.g. by cold galvanizing.
Keep away from other metals! Galvanized steel should never be brought into direct contact with other metals or in their immediate vicinity, as contact corrosion or cross-contamination can occur. This can significantly affect both metals, especially stainless steel, as it loses its non-rusting properties.
Wear your PPE! Please always wear suitable personal protective equipment appropriate to the process when working on the hollow section. Toxic gases can be produced during welding in particular.
