Description
The composite mortar is perfect for fixing heavy loads. It can be used with many building materials, such as concrete, solid brick, perforated brick, calcareous sandstone, concrete block, aerated concrete, vertically perforated brick, etc. The advantage of the mortar is that it is styrene-free, low-odor and can therefore also be used indoors. The resin can also be used as a repair or filling compound. The composite mortar can be used in dry and wet concrete and water-filled boreholes.
Properties:
easy application
quick fixing
installation in dry, wet and water-filled boreholes
Waterproof connection
Expansion pressure-free fastening: no stresses in the base material
Small edge and axial distances
Does not change the appearance of the wall
Styrene-free: low odor, suitable for indoor use
Overhead installation allowed
no expansion effect, near-edge fixing possible
short application and curing time
very suitable for anchoring wood and steel structures
processing:
fits into a standard squeeze gun
by squeezing, the two components (hardener and resin) mix in the mixer
Cartridge can be reused by replacing the mixer
Application:
Fixing in plumbing, heating, air conditioning, carpentry, electrical, window elements, railings, handrails, gate systems.
Technical details:
Designation: UPM 33 - 150
Number of static mixers per cartridge: 2
Cartridge capacity: 145ml
Approval: concrete C20/25 to C50/60, cracked and non-cracked
Dry storage: +5°C to +25°C
Instructions:
1.Mark the drill hole at the desired location and drill the hole. Ensure a minimum edge distance of 50mm to avoid chipping of the concrete edge when tightening the bolt / anchor rod.
Remove the borehole dust from the borehole and clean it with the help of a blow-out pump and a suitable wire brush. 3.
Use a suitable sieve sleeve to reduce the consumption of the injection mortar. Insert the sleeve into the hole. Now fill the sieve sleeve with the composite mortar. Then close the sleeve with the cap with the centering wings. 4.
Now screw the bolt or the threaded rod/anchor rod into the sleeve. By turning it in, the injection mortar is forced out of the side of the sieve sleeve and bonds with the surrounding building material.
(Step 3 and 4 can also be carried out without the sieve sleeve. Here the consumption of the compound mortar will be higher).
Scope of delivery:
1x cartridge 145ml

The following is a machine-translated quote from the manufacturer's installation instructions. You can find the original here: https://fiproductmedia.azureedge.net/media/Marketing%20Materials/Installation%20Instructions/MA_01_UPM33_U_SALL_AIP_V1.pdf
Injection mortar UPM 33 / UPM 33 Express
A ) Preparing the cartridge
- Remove the sealing cap.
- Tighten the static mixer. The mixing spiral in the static mixer must be clearly visible. Never use without static mixer!
- Place the cartridge in the dispensing gun.
- Squeeze out (approx. 10 cm long strand) until the emerging mortar is evenly colored. Mortar that is not evenly colored will not set and must be discarded.
Caution: Leave the static mixer on the cartridge after installation is complete.
If the processing time has been exceeded, use a new static mixer and remove any encrusted material from the cartridge opening.
Installation in masonry
B I ) Installation with perforated sleeve
Suitable for: Perforated bricks, solid bricks, perforated sand-lime bricks, solid sand-lime bricks, hollow blocks, pumice bricks, hollow ceilings and other perforated bricks.
- Drill the hole. Observe the specified drilling diameter and drilling depth. For solid building materials, clean additionally: Blow out at least 2 x + brush 2 x + blow out 2 x. Poor drill hole cleaning = reduced load-bearing capacity!
- Insert the perforated sleeve flush into the anchoring base.
- Fill the injection mortar bubble-free from the bottom of the drill hole.
- Then press the anchoring element into the base of the sleeve while turning it slightly.
- Only load the anchoring after the prescribed curing time (see Table I).
B II ) Installation without perforated sleeve
Suitable for: Lightweight concrete, solid brick, solid sand-lime brick, aerated concrete, solid pumice, natural stone and other solid building materials. We recommend using a perforated sleeve in plastered masonry.
- Drill the hole. Observe the specified drilling diameter and drilling depth.
- Clean the drill hole thoroughly: Blow out at least 2 x + brush 2 x + blow out 2 x. Poor cleaning = reduced load-bearing capacity!
- Fill the injection mortar bubble-free from the bottom of the drill hole (approx. 2/3 of the drill hole).
- Then press the anchoring element into the bottom of the drill hole with a slight twisting motion. After setting the anchoring element, excess mortar must emerge at the mouth of the drill hole. If no mortar emerges at the surface, the threaded rod must be pulled out immediately and injection mortar injected again.
- Do not load the anchoring until the prescribed curing time has elapsed (see Table I).
Attention: Depending on the building material, color changes may occur. Check at a suitable point beforehand
For overhead installation, fix the anchoring element with clamping wedges during the curing time of the mortar.
Store mortar in a cool and dry place. (+5°C to + 25°C)
Installation in concrete
C ) Drill hole preparation
- Drill the hole. Observe the specified drilling diameter and drilling depth
- Completely remove any water from the drill hole by blowing or vacuuming it out. Clean the drill hole thoroughly. Poor cleaning = reduced load-bearing capacity! For sizes M6 to M12 and hd ≤ 12 x d: Blow out 4 x vigorously with a hand blower (use an adapter for size M6). - For all other sizes and drilling depths: blow out 4 x with oil-free compressed air, p > 6 bar.
- brush 4 x by machine. Clean dirty brushes. Check wear with brush gauge. Brush diameter must be larger than control diameter.
- Blow out the drill hole again 4 x (see process step 2).
- Fill the injection mortar bubble-free from the bottom of the drill hole (approx. 2/3 of the drill hole, see Table II). Use a ≥ 150 mm extension hose in confined spaces or where space is tight.
C I ) Pre-assembly
- Press the anchoring element into the bottom of the drill hole with a slight twisting motion. After setting the anchoring element, excess mortar must emerge at the mouth of the drill hole. If no mortar emerges at the surface, the anchor rod must be pulled out immediately and injection mortar injected again.
- Only load the anchorage after the prescribed curing time (see Table I).
C II ) Push-through installation
- For push-through installation, the hole in the attachment must be filled with mortar.
C III ) Installation with internally threaded anchor IST
- Press in the IST internally threaded anchor flush with the surface using a slight twisting motion. After setting the anchoring element, excess mortar must emerge at the mouth of the drill hole. If no mortar emerges at the surface, the internally threaded anchor must be pulled out immediately and injection mortar injected again.
- Only load the anchorage after the prescribed curing time (see Table I).
