Are you looking for a made-to-measure handrail but can't find what you need? Then your search ends right here. We offer you a high-quality, corrosion-resistant V2A stainless steel handrail manufactured and polished in Germany with a tube diameter of either Ø 33.7 mm x 2.0 or Ø 42.4 x 2.0 mm, which you can select to the millimeter in our configurator, from 400 mm - 6000 mm. You can also use the configurator to select the end cap that best suits your interior style. The end caps are available for both diameters:
- No end cap: this leaves the tube open if you want to guide the handrail into a wall pocket or if you want to use your own end caps
- Flat end cap: A flush, straight and minimalist finish. Top for a modern look indoors and outdoors
- Curved end cap: The cap is slightly curved outwards and gives the handrail an elegant touch
- Hemisphere: A highly distinctive and rounded end that feels ergonomically pleasant to the touch
- Bend towards the wall: The tube is gently guided back towards the wall in an elegant 90-degree bend, effectively preventing sleeves or bags from getting caught in it
- Bend to the ground: the tube swings downwards at a 90-degree angle, which has the effect of a classic design element that gives the handrail a flowing, harmonious finish

Safety has a high priority. To prevent the handrail from bending, the required number of handrail brackets is adapted to the desired length. Simply select your desired dimensions and use the 3D viewer to gain a small insight. The minimum length of the handrail is 400 mm.

The handrail brackets are not only visual highlights, but also ensure a secure hold on any load-bearing wall. The maximum distance between two brackets is 1750 mm.

Important note on the handrail
To ensure that your handrail fits perfectly and remains stable, the handrail brackets are already firmly welded to the stainless steel tube. The first holder is welded on at a distance of 125 mm from the end of the pipe. The other holders are then automatically distributed evenly according to your desired length. As every wall has different requirements, the fixing material is not included in the scope of delivery. Please obtain 3 suitable screws and 3 dowels for mounting each bracket. The end caps you select are already pre-assembled for you on delivery.

- Use suitable mounting material! Please ensure that you use suitable mounting material for your surface. If you are unsure which dowel or screw you need for your wall, please seek advice from a specialist dealer. If the handrail is not fixed correctly, it may fail in an emergency!
- Follow the care instructions! Please note that stainless steel must be cleaned regularly and generally cared for. Otherwise the material may lose its rustproof properties.
- Risk of rust! The handrail is only slightly resistant to chemicals and acids in particular. For this reason, we must advise against using it in aggressive environments, as this damages the corrosion protection and could lead to material failure. For example, it is not recommended for use near pools, in cities with high levels of air pollution or in places close to the sea!
Installation instructions:
We recommend that the handrail is installed by two people, as installing it alone involves a considerable amount of extra work. The following instructions describe assembly by two people and can also be carried out by inexperienced people. Please read the instructions carefully and in full before starting installation.
Tool list:
In addition to suitable screws and plugs, you will need the following tools to install the handrail:
- Ruler (folding rule) or tape measure
- Pencil
- Drill
- Drill (suitable for the substrate and the selected dowel)
- Screwdriver (suitable for the selected screw)
Step by step explanation:
As soon as you have the above-mentioned tools and enough screws and dowels to hand, you can start installing the handrail. Simply follow the steps below and the job will be done in no time.
- Find an installation height that is comfortable for you or check the applicable building regulations for any specifications. To find a comfortable height, a second person can hold the handrail against a wall at different heights. Once you have found a height that meets your visual and ergonomic requirements, measure and make a note of the vertical distance from the floor to the underside of the handrail tube. We normally recommend a height of 900 mm and will describe the following steps using this measurement. If you have found a different measurement for yourself, please use your own measurement instead.
- Have another person hold the handrail against the wall to which it is to be attached.
- Align both ends of the handrail with the floor and measure the distance between the floor and the underside of the handrail tube. Move the handrail ends in height until the vertical distance is 900 mm. When installing along a staircase, please measure vertically from the front edge of the steps to the underside of the handrail tube.
- Next, carefully lift the cover rosettes of the handrail supports and transfer the holes of all anchor plates to the wall. To do this, simply run your pencil along the inside of the holes so that you draw corresponding circles on your wall.
- At this point, the other person can put the handrail to one side.
- Now drill holes in the wall in the middle of all the markings. Make sure that the drill bit is always aligned at right angles to the wall surface and follow any instructions provided by the wall plug manufacturer. It is quite common for the manufacturer of the fixing material to specify certain diameters and drill hole depths. These specifications must be adhered to!
- If required by the plug manufacturer, clean the drill holes according to the specifications.
- Then insert the dowels into all the drill holes and again ensure that all the manufacturer's instructions are followed.
- Now have the other person hold the handrail against the wall so that the holes in the handrail supports match the dowels in the wall.
- Now screw the screws through the holes in the handrail supports into the wall plugs. Do not tighten the screws yet, however, as this will give you a little leeway for the subsequent screws.
- Once you have screwed in all the screws, you can tighten them according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- The handrail is now secured to the wall and the other person no longer needs to hold it.
- If necessary, you can now move the cover rosettes of all the handrail supports so that they rest against the wall and cover the anchor plates of the handrail supports.
Care instructions:
Please note that the handrail must be cleaned and maintained at regular intervals. If this maintenance is not carried out, or only insufficiently, the material may lose its rust-proof properties. You can use commercially available, non-acidic cleaning agents for cleaning. Please also note that the occurrence of occasional flash rust, especially in outdoor areas, cannot be ruled out. Flash rust should be removed as quickly as possible to avoid any damage to the material.
