Description
Split stainless steel handrail up to 10 m with connectors and brackets | Cap and diameter selectable
Are you looking for a handrail for longer distances? Then you've come to the right place. Not only do we offer you a polished V2A stainless steel handrail in either Ø 33.7 mm x 2.0 mm or Ø 42.4 mm x 2.0 mm lengths up to 10,000 mm (10 m), but we also ensure that shipping costs remain low. How do we do that? By simply splitting the handrail and supplying it with the appropriate connectors. That saves money and stress.
The minimum length of the handrail is 2,100 mm, and it can be selected up to 10,000 mm. The stainless steel handrail includes permanently welded, angled handrail brackets with a sturdy 3-hole mounting system and a drill hole diameter of 7 mm per hole. The matching cover rosettes, which clip on easily, are also included. The number of holders is automatically adjusted based on the selected length. In addition, you can choose between straight, slightly curved, hemispherical, or arched end caps with a straight edge. We pre-assemble and glue the end caps.
Quality Out of Conviction
Our split stainless steel handrail is manufactured for you in Germany and carefully inspected. The properties of V2A stainless steel ensure that your handrail is protected from corrosion, making it perfect for both indoor and outdoor use. Some of its advantages include its durability, ease of maintenance, and the ability to use it wherever it's needed. This is how you can achieve a timeless design with high-quality standards in your home or commercial space—for example, on stairs, hallways, patios, and much more.
Sturdy on the wall, secure in your hand
Since we want to provide you with a great shopping experience at all times, with relatively low shipping costs, this allows us to offer handrails up to 10,000 mm (10 meters) in length. As mentioned earlier, the welded handrail brackets and connectors are cut to the desired length. Below is an overview of the most important key points:
- From 2100 mm to 4000 mm: 4 handrail brackets and 1 connector
- From 4,100 mm to 6,000 mm: 5 handrail brackets and 2 connectors
- From 6,100 mm to 7,700 mm: 6 handrail brackets and 3 connectors
- From 7,800 mm to 8,000 mm: 8 handrail brackets and 3 connectors
- From 8,100 mm to 9,200 mm: 7 handrail brackets and 4 connectors
- From 9,300 mm to 10,000 mm: 9 handrail brackets and 4 connectors
As you can see, the number of sections varies depending on the length, so the handrail can be divided into up to 4 sections. The connecting piece serves as a bridge between the two open handrails. After installation, the crossbar remains slightly visible, which makes precise positioning easier and connects the handrail into a secure unit. The arrangement of the connectors ensures that the stainless steel handrail is perfectly stable. The permissible manufacturing tolerances for our products are listed in our General Terms and Conditions (GTC).

Examples of Use and Features
The split V2A stainless steel handrail makes shipping significantly easier, allowing the individual handrail sections to be packed more efficiently, stored more easily, and installed more conveniently. This is especially convenient for long wall handrails, staircases, or situations where space is limited. Below are a few examples of how it can be used:
-
Indoor and Outdoor Stairs:
The split handrail is ideal for stairwells, short and long hallways, and many living areas. Especially on longer flights of stairs, the well-designed spacing makes it easier to install and mount the handrail -
Basement Entrances & Side Entrances:
For basement entrances, side entrances, or garage entrances, the split handrail offers a practical solution, as the individual segments can be easily installed even in tight spaces -
Commercial Properties & Apartment Buildings:
In medical offices, office buildings, stairwells, and all other public access areas, the V2A stainless steel handrail is very popular due to its low-maintenance and durable properties. Here, too, the split execution really comes into its own on longer routes. -
Indoor & Outdoor Use:
Thanks to its exceptional resistance to environmental factors, our stainless steel handrail is ideally suited for both indoor and outdoor use -
Easy to clean:
Due to its high quality and alloy composition, the handrail is antibacterial and suitable for use in the food industry. Nevertheless, we recommend maintaining the handrail at least once a year indoors, and twice or more often outdoors, depending on the situation

Information on product safety:
Warning notices:
- Use suitable mounting material! Please ensure that you use suitable mounting material for your surface. If you are unsure which dowel or screw you need for your wall, please seek advice from a specialist dealer. If the handrail is not fixed correctly, it may fail in an emergency!
- Follow the care instructions! Please note that stainless steel must be cleaned regularly and generally cared for. Otherwise the material may lose its rustproof properties.
- Risk of rust! The handrail is only slightly resistant to chemicals and acids in particular. For this reason, we must advise against using it in aggressive environments, as it damages the corrosion protection and could lead to material failure. For example, use near pools, in cities with high levels of air pollution and in places in the immediate vicinity of the sea is not recommended!
Installation instructions:
We recommend that the handrail is installed by two people, as installing it alone involves a considerable amount of extra work. The following instructions describe assembly by two people and can also be carried out by inexperienced people. Please read the instructions carefully and in full before starting installation.
Tool list:
In addition to suitable screws and plugs, you will need the following tools to install the handrail:
- Ruler (folding rule) or tape measure
- Pencil
- Drill
- Drill (suitable for the substrate and the selected dowel)
- Screwdriver (suitable for the selected screw)
Step by step explanation:
As soon as you have the above-mentioned tools and enough screws and dowels to hand, you can start installing the handrail. Simply follow the steps below and the job will be done in no time.
- Assemble the handrail by joining the individual parts together with tube connectors. To do this, simply insert a pipe connector into one end of the pipe and then slide another part of the handrail onto it. For even greater stability, you can apply a little stainless steel adhesive to the inside of the tubes before inserting them. However, this is optional. If you decide to do this, please choose a slow-setting adhesive so that the tubes can still be twisted towards each other during installation. In this way, the handrail supports nestle best against the wall.
- Find an installation height that is comfortable for you or check the applicable building regulations for any specifications. To find a comfortable height, a second person can hold the handrail at different heights against a wall. Once you have found a height that meets your visual and ergonomic requirements, measure and make a note of the vertical distance from the floor to the underside of the handrail tube. Normally, we recommend a height of 900 mm and will describe the following steps using this measurement. If you have found a different measurement for yourself, please use your own measurement instead.
- Have another person hold the handrail against the wall to which it is to be attached.
- Align both ends of the handrail with the floor and measure the distance between the floor and the underside of the handrail tube. Move the handrail ends in height until the vertical distance is 900 mm. When installing along a staircase, please measure vertically from the front edge of the steps to the underside of the handrail tube.
- Next, carefully lift the cover rosettes of the handrail supports and transfer the holes of all anchor plates to the wall. To do this, simply run your pencil along the inside of the holes so that you draw corresponding circles on your wall.
- At this point, the other person can put the handrail to one side.
- Now drill holes in the wall in the middle of all the markings. Make sure that the drill bit is always aligned at right angles to the wall surface and follow any instructions provided by the wall plug manufacturer. It is quite common for the manufacturer of the fixing material to specify certain diameters and drill hole depths. These specifications must be adhered to!
- If required by the plug manufacturer, clean the drill holes according to the specifications.
- Then insert the dowels into all the drill holes and again ensure that all the manufacturer's instructions are followed.
- Now have the other person hold the handrail against the wall so that the holes in the handrail supports match the dowels in the wall.
- Now screw the screws through the holes in the handrail supports into the wall plugs. Do not tighten the screws yet, however, as this will give you a little leeway for the subsequent screws.
- Once you have screwed in all the screws, you can tighten them according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- The handrail is now secured to the wall and the other person no longer needs to hold it.
- If necessary, you can now move the cover rosettes of all the handrail supports so that they rest against the wall and cover the anchor plates of the handrail supports.
Care instructions:
Please note that the handrail must be cleaned and maintained at regular intervals. If this maintenance is not carried out, or only insufficiently, the material may lose its rust-proof properties. You can use commercially available, non-acidic cleaning agents for cleaning. Please also note that the occurrence of occasional flash rust, especially in outdoor areas, cannot be ruled out. Flash rust should be removed as quickly as possible to avoid any damage to the material.
