This weld-on bracket made of S235JR structural steel is your first choice for robust welded joints in metal, steel and mechanical engineering. It can be welded directly to beams, profiles or frames, thus ensuring permanently resilient connections. The round hole can be used as a mounting/positioning aid or for an additional screw connection if you want to combine a weld seam and screw connection.

Available in several sizes and material thicknesses of 3mm, 5mm or 6mm, you can customize the flap exactly to your project. Contact corrosion and cross-contamination can considerably weaken the metals concerned. Stainless steel is particularly affected as it loses its non-rusting properties
Only work with respiratory protection! Steel should only be processed with appropriate respiratory protection, as metal dust poses health risks.
Only weld with a fume extractor! Steel should only be welded with an appropriate fume extraction system and using suitable respiratory protection. The gases produced during welding can cause serious damage to health.

Care instructions

As steel has no corrosion protection of its own and therefore starts to rust quickly, it is advisable to apply a protective coating that is maintained at regular intervals. A protective layer can be created, for example, by painting, galvanizing, powder coating or by applying commercially available mineral oil.
