Would you like to make a metal frame? Then you are right with us! Our galvanized steel frames to measure are defined by their longevity and production to an individual requirement. In addition to the large selection of profiles and the millimeter-precise indication of the external dimensions, we also offer you the possibility to determine whether and at what distance we drill holes in the steel frame. Thus, the assembly becomes a knock and you avoid annoying rework and adjustments.
Our frames on customer size consist of high quality S235JR construction steel, which is often used in steel and mechanical engineering because of its good material properties. But also in the construction industry, the material is often encountered as this steel is particularly popular with metal builders and construction locks. The finished frames are sealed with a corrosion-resistant zinc layer. Thus, the steel is well protected from harmful environmental influences and does not start to rust even under adverse conditions. In addition, the so-called refractory zinc plating is extremely easy to maintain and therefore perfectly suitable for house, courtyard and garden.
Dimensions and execution
The frame consists of 20x20x4 angle steelthe is welded to a rectangular frame. Since our angle frames usually receive Light grids or Zarge for Doors and Hatches we deliberately dispense with the welding of the inside. In this way, we ensure that attachments and inserts can close flush with the frame without disturbing weld seam. In addition, we grind the external welds smooth to facilitate assembly and achieve an attractive look. Please note that zinc accumulations often form at the weld seams.
In the design with circumferential and front holes, we provide the frame both end face as well as along Outsides with holes. You will be on the leg of the profile and along the sides centrally arranged and have Diameter of 6mm. The number of holes results from the external dimensions and hole distances you choose. Please note that the selected hole spacing should be smaller than the internal dimension of the frame. At larger distances, a single central hole is drilled on the affected sides.

Thanks to 4mm wall thickness and the professionally performed welds, the frame is also well prepared for rough conditions.
To protect the material from rust in the long term and reliably, the steel frames are professionally galvanized. In this process, components are immersed in liquid zinc which, after cooling, forms a uniform and airtight layer on the workpiece surface and protects the steel from corrosion for decades.

Frame for light grids: Whether for a cellar shaft or as a dirt trap, our frames are well suited as frames for light grids and similar covers. They secure the insert securely from slipping and allow a toolless removal for cleaning or reperatures.

Powder coating in Anthracite
The anthracite powder coating gives the frame an attractive, smooth surface. A powder coating is of interest just when the frame is to be installed at visible points, since the original, silvery shiny zinc layer quickly starts with matt and gets a blunt, gray appearance. Although this has no effect on the corrosion-resistant properties, it is visually but often not very appealing.
But what exactly is a powder coating? In powder coating, the workpiece is first coated with an electrostatic powder. In this case, the powder is tightened by the material in a regular manner, so that a particularly uniform layer thickness extending into the corners is established. The workpiece is then heated in an oven, whereby the powder liquefies and melts to form a smooth coating.
