Wall and floor mounting
You would like to provide more safety at your staircase with a handrail? You are welcome to use our already assembled kits. Alternatively, the handrail can be configured entirely according to your ideas and wishes.
Furthermore, you will need suitable handrail brackets, which are the perfect fastening solution for your handrail. The handrail tube but also the handrail brackets are particularly robust and durable thanks to the high-quality stainless steel, so you will enjoy them for a long time. Due to the filigree, timeless design, the handrail brackets can be optimally combined with a stainless steel railing.
The installation of the handrail: floor or wall mounting
The mounting of a free-standing handrail should be well considered. Whether set in concrete or mounted on the floor or on the wall, the fastenings must be matched to the mounting surface and the loads.
The installation of your new handrail including the handrail brackets is quite simple with the appropriate tools and fastening material. Depending on the model or design, the screw-on plate of the handrail bracket is fastened centrally to the wall or to the floor. Since the mounting plate of the holder is already provided with holes, the handrail tube can then be easily screwed to it.
Fixing the handrail - how many brackets are needed?
How many brackets you need for handrail floor mounting or wall mounting depends on the length and material of the wall. We can give you the following recommendations:
Handrail length up to 1.7 m = 2 handrail brackets
Handrail length from 1.8 to 2.5 m = 3 handrail brackets
Handrail length from 2.6 to 3.5 m = 4 handrail brackets
Handrail length from 3.6 m = 6 handrail brackets
