Each table base is manufactured with a 0.5 cm thick steel mounting plate, in which 8 screw holes are pre-drilled. Our construction ensures a very stable and easy assembly of your table top.

The number of holes varies depending on the specified dimensions.
The "powder-coated" version may be soiled during handling. There is also the possibility of slight color deviations from the model shown in the product image. As the powder coating does not extend to the inside of the table runner, it does not provide complete corrosion protection. We therefore advise against using it outdoors or in damp rooms.

Assembly instructions:

Attaching the table runner to a table top is usually child's play and can be done in no time at all. In the following, we describe the procedure for a commercially available laminated wood table top. Please note that the installation procedure may differ for other boards. In this case, ask the manufacturer of the table top for advice.

Please read the instructions carefully before starting assembly.

Step by step instructions:

Lay the tabletop on the floor and use a soft carpet pad (e.g. a carpet) to protect the wood from scratches. The underside of the table top, i.e. the side to which the table runner is attached, should now be facing upwards.
Place the table runner upside down on the tabletop so that the fixing points of the runner are against the wood.
Slide the table runner onto the place where you want to attach it. Measure the distances from the table runner to the outer edges of the table top to orientate yourself and create a symmetrical overall picture.
Transfer the mounting holes of the table runner to your tabletop. To do this, simply run the pencil along the inside of all the holes and draw small circles on the tabletop. Depending on the pencil you choose, you may end up with individual dots in the middle of the holes instead of circles, which is also fine.
Now carefully place the table runner to one side.
Then drill small, vertical holes in the wood in the middle of the markings. These holes ensure that the wood does not split when the screws are screwed in and must have the correct diameter and be aligned at right angles to the surface. The diameter depends on the screws selected and can be obtained from a specialist retailer. It is also important to ensure that the holes are drilled sufficiently deep, but not completely through. This step requires special attention, as you could inadvertently drill through the entire table top and thus damage the visible side of the table top.
Place the table runner back on the tabletop and align the fixing holes in the runner with the corresponding holes in the tabletop.
Now screw the screws through the fixing holes of the table runner into the wood of the table top and tighten them. Be careful not to use too much force, as the screws could turn and become unusable.
If necessary, repeat the steps for additional table runners.

Powder-coated table runners have a moderate level of corrosion protection that is sufficient for indoor use. They do not require regular maintenance and can be cleaned with standard household cleaners. However, the table runners are not suitable for outdoor use as they rust quickly and can suffer from material failure over time.
