These railings allow opening floor-to-ceiling windows or doors without presenting a safety risk, as they reliably protect against falls.
Fire galvanization with optional powder coating
The main advantage of the refractory zinc plating is that the metal, in this case steel, is covered by a special process with a layer of zinc. This zinc coating forms a protective barrier that protects the material from harmful environmental influences and reliably protects the railing from corrosion. The galvanized balconies are therefore durable and easy to maintain. In combination with a professional powder coating, you get the benefits of galvanizing without having to miss out on a beautiful look.
Appearance of fire galvanizing
First, the zinc plating has a metallically glossy surface. Due to weathering and other environmental influences, the zinc layer quickly forms a grey, matte surface that rarely meets the aesthetic requirements. For this reason, we recommend an additional powder coating, which allows you to upgrade the railing Optisch and adjust the overall image of your facade. However, the coating is not required for corrosion protection.
In addition, the technically necessary galvanizing holes are placed in such a way that they are no longer visible after assembly. Galvanization holes are openings in the tubes, which allow pressure equalization when immersed in the hot zinc bath and permit the coating of the profile inner sides.
Appearance of powder coating
The powder coating forms a uniform, smooth surface on the galvanized railing. It ensures that the railing retains a constant appearance in the long term.
A powder coating is produced by applying electrostatically charged powder to the workpiece and then heating it in an oven. As a result, the powder liquefies and melts to form an art-off-like coating which has a very good weathering resistance. It was never easier to install a French balcony. The anchor plate is embedded 10mm deep in the wall bracket and thus, using a lock nut, allows easy installation on insulation materials.
