There is a wide range of different applications for our steel tubes.They are mainly used in balcony railings, stair railings, portal construction, door and gate construction, for facade substructures and for greenhouses, in railing construction, fence construction, in steel construction up to lighter constructions in machine and vehicle construction.
Please note the following:
- Cutting tolerances for steel tubes: +/- 3mm.
- Due to the manufacturing process, the products may show small scratches.
- Rust adhesion is quite common with raw steel and is therefore not a reason for complaint.
- Caution, steel is a sharp-edged material. The product is not deburred. Please use appropriate protective clothing, we accept no liability for damage or injury.
Welding and processing:
The steels can be welded by hand and automatically in all thicknesses according to the welding methods mentioned, observing the general rules of technology. Standard welding processes that come into question for this steel grade:
- TIG welding
- MAG welding
- Arc welding
- Submerged arc welding
Due to the high concentration of pollutants generated during welding, critical substances are to be expected in the air and at the workplace. The use of an extraction system for direct local collection of the pollutants produced is an effective protective measure. If the extraction system is not sufficient, the welder must use personal respiratory protection.
